Teeth Whitening

Brighten Your Smile
Professional whitening services provide a safe and effective method for eliminating surface stains and lightening the colour of your teeth.
The whitening solution that we use is made up of active ingredients such as hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.
When applied to the teeth, the solution releases oxygen, which interacts with the tooth enamel as the active ingredient breaks down stains, resulting in a whitening effect.
We typically recommend that patients seeking teeth whitening treatment are at least 16 years old. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
At-Home Whitening
Our easy-to-use at-home whitening system can brighten your teeth in a few days. Using our 3D scanner, we will take digital impressions of your smile from which your custom trays will be made from. These custom trays will be used for applying the professional whitening gel.
These trays can be worn for a few hours a day and will help you achieve a progressively brighter smile.
Your dentist will work with you to form a treatment plan that works for your smile goals. Typically, a whitening plan with at-home kits occurs over a few weeks.
In-Office Whitening
We also offer in-office whitening, which is effective for quick stain removal.
This can be a helpful option when you have a special event coming up or as an alternative to wearing the take-home trays.
How At-Home Teeth Whitening Works
At your appointment, we’ll take impressions of your teeth to create a custom-fitted whitening tray.
You'll come back for a follow-up visit to receive your tray, whitening gel, and step-by-step instructions on how to use them.
To whiten your teeth, simply apply the gel to the tray and wear it over your teeth as directed, typically for one to two hours each day.
The Results
You should see results within 10 to 14 days, with a significant change in tooth colour generally occurring in four to six weeks.
Tooth whitening may have limited effects on heavily stained teeth. In these instances, an alternative restorative or cosmetic treatment such as dental crowns or veneers may be used.
